Village Tours
The cities of Rajasthan are beautiful and follow an
urban lifestyle, but the villages of Rajasthan will
prove to be a wonderful getaway from the hustling city
life. They are simpler, grounded in tradition and have a
charm of their own.
A village tour will give you an insight into rural India. You will be enchanted by the simplicity of people’s lifestyle here.
We are proud of being able to offer
our clients village tours to several parts of Rajasthan.
You can experience village life and see the way of
living and working and the way they dress, which is
different in every village, as is the language and food.
You will find staying a few days in a village a
relaxing, non-touristy way to spend your holidays.
The hotels we selected all are comfortable and quiet.
You can make a tour to the Shekawati region, of which Mandawa is the main town, to see its beautiful painted havelis.
Or make a
tour to the villages in the Thar desert, like Sam and
Kuri, to enjoy camel safaris, entertainment with
traditional dances and music, and stay in the desert
overnight in tents.
There are also many interesting villages around Jodhpur
and Udaipur, amongst which – just to mention two -
Bhadrajun Fort, where you can make jeep safaris, visit
the local school, and have a traditional lunch.
And in Bijaipur, another pleasant small village, you can go horse riding.
We are convinced that making village tours with Gajraj Travels will be one of the highlights of your stay in India and make your holiday one that you will never forget.
A village tour is a must if you want to explore the ‘other’ side of India!
